Believe it or not, Hoshipay is a Texas-based company. We are not in another country—heck, we aren’t even in California. We understand the complexities of payroll and what it takes to ensure your employees are paid on time and your taxes are filed accurately.

Why I built Hoshipay

I’m Tom Twofeathers, an Enrolled Agent and the owner of Starr Tax Advisors in Cypress, Texas. Enrolled Agents are federally authorized to represent taxpayers, and payroll tax is a big part of what my firm handles every day: bookkeeping, S corporation compliance, information returns and IRS notices.

Again and again I watched small business owners pay far too much for payroll, or try to do it themselves and end up with penalty notices. Payroll is already a headache. It shouldn’t be expensive too. So I built Hoshipay: full-service payroll with the tax filing done for you, at a price a small business can live with.
