The questions worth asking before you switch are usually about your specific situation — which states you have workers in, what your prior provider already filed this year, and how mid-year onboarding works — and those are faster on the phone than over email. Already running payroll with us

If a pay run is due and something is wrong, call. Email is fine for anything that is not time-critical, and it is the better channel when you need to send a document.
